APL started by fostering pets in their individual homes

Including an inviting reception area, comfortable adoption meet-and-greet area, spacious work area, and modern break room for volunteers and staff

Refurbished kennel areas

Non-slip floors in pedestrian areas; super tough quartz floors in the pet spaces; reconditioned kennel doors and dividers; fresh, calming colored paint for the dogs; and large, comfortable spaces for the cats
